Two Beaches♪
Yesterday, we planed to go Jones Beach with my friend who is from Chile!
She is a so kind and spirited lovely lady!!
In the language school, I can know many people from many other countries that I would have never known.
And I think, I had the good fortune to meet great people who are all so kind and nice!
She is one of the nicest person who I met in this school.
We live in Long Island and she also lives in there!
We met in Jamaica station which is the big hub station of LIRR.(Long Island Rail Road)
My boyfriend, Kenjiro, drove his car and took the high way!
He always gets nervous when he gets on the High way.
From the outset he doesn't like to drive^^;
But he always drives well, very carefully.haha
We went Jones Beach at first.
There are two very famous beaches in Long Island,
one is Long Beach, another one is Jones Beach.
Yesterday, it was a cloudy day and the weather report said it would be rain.
But we thought it was just a short rain, so we decided to go to the Beach!
Fortunately, when we arrived, there was no rain.
Besides, because of the weather, there were just only few people on the Beach!
I heard, on usual weekend days, there are full of people! even you can't find a space.
So, I thought we were lucky in some way!
We could enjoy sitting the Beach and didn't care about any other people.
We also could enjoy swimming without any hindrance.
And we had good waives yesterday!
I've never swum in such waving sea!! so I was so excited!!
I drank a lot salty water! and my body was filled by salt.^^;
The feeling of float on the sea is so nice,I like it!
But after a few minutes we started swimming, it began to rain!
We took refuge from the rain and a rest.
We wait a little longer and saw whether the rain would stop.
But it seemed kept raining, so we decided to go drinking some drinks^^
Around Jones Beach, there are no places for drinking, eating and shopping.
So we moved to Long Beach where is close to my friend's place.
There is a street filled with bars and restaurants!
It looks one of the sightseeing spot.
The Beach is spread near the bar street!
We drank some alcoholic drinks and ate appetizers.
We also enjoyed talking!
When I drink alcoholic drinks, I always get red face!
Look! It look like an octopus!!!!! ha!
I was mellow but was cheerful.
After left the bar, we walked into Long Beach!
There were only few people, too.
The sun set was behind the sea.
It was so beautiful sight.
That time, suddenly, I felt that " I'm in a foreign country!!" .
When I was in Japan, I think, I haven't spent such a slow life.
How great time we could have yesterday!!
We have to say thank you to my friend, taking us such nice places and spending time with us!!
